Susan Harris began working with textiles at an early age. After studying fashion design at Sheridan and George Brown College, she immersed herself in the industry, apprenticing and gaining experience in pattern drafting, clothing construction, textiles and design.
In 2001, Susan started her own store and design label based in Toronto’s Distillery District. She focuses on eco-friendly clothing and accessories specializing in handmade sweaters, mitts, arm warmers, leg warmers and shawls from recycled wool and other materials.
Susan experiments with embellishing her pieces with silkscreened nature imagery and text. These, along with frenetic stitching and raw edges, have become her signature style.
