Spring equinox, March 20, 2015, is just around the corner. With the weather changing moods usually follow suit. I feel a lot more energized and productive when the days get longer and brighter. And with spring comes spring cleaning! Spring cleaning and organizing can be a great start to starting something new. This week I gathered some sites that help motivate and encourage you in this new season!
DECLUTTER: Decluttering can help with stress and productivity. Here are two great articles on how to organize and declutter all aspects of your life. The first one goes through the process step by step, starting with why it's beneficial for you to be clutter free and ends with how to keep your space clutter free.
HEALTHY HABITS: I discovered this TED talk about healthy habits a few months ago and I can't stop thinking about it. Matt Cutts talks about how for the most part it takes 30 days to develop habits or break a habit. With that in mind I encourage each of you to strive to develop healthy habits - whether it be getting up early, running 20 minutes a day, reading an hour a day or whatever you feel could improve your daily life. Good Luck!
BUDGET: Being a recent graduate I have a school debt, which makes me sweat any time I think about it. I have been trying to chip away at it for some time now and it is seemingly becoming more difficult. I am hoping with the coming months I can develop better spending habits and saving habits in order to prepare for the future. I have heard of the envelope method before and I think it could help me. Spring is the perfect time to try it out!
