I thought for this week I would try something a little different with our Luvly Round-Up. We usually select three of our favourite links from around the internet, but today I'm going to share with you three of my favourite blogs who also do weekly round-ups! Feel free to follow along with them, they've got lots of great links to share!
Amy Kitchen is a fine art object finder, auction advice giver, photograph taker, old stuff archiver, peanut butter lover. Her blog is a mix of fine art, cinema, and home decor. She often invites guest contributors, which gives the blog an enjoyable range of voices.
We love her Follow Up Friday posts which gather some interesting links from all over. We've linked to her posting from last week that includes a gorgeous floral carpet and a label redesign initiated by a 7-year-old.
The site that inspired us to start doing our own version of the Round-Up, Claire Mazur and Erica Cerulo run Of a Kind, a out-of-the-ordinary shopping site that 'aims to support and promote on-the-rise fashion designers ' by sharing their unique products and stories.
Small designers do small run editions for this carefully curated site, and shoppers know they are getting a piece that is, for example, 40 'of a kind'.
These talented ladies also keep up an active blog component on their site, sharing fashion favourites, as well as their 10 Things We're Doing Besides... Round-Up.
This Canadian blog has been around since 2005, and is dedicated to bringing together the beautiful, the decayed and the handmade. Husband and wife team Jan Halvarson and Earl Einarson bring together great design with great makers (with some great vintage in the mix) in their Poppytalk Shop, a curated online store.
We do love us some Scandinavian design, and we love this Round-Up of Ikea Hacks for decorating the home. Poppytalk is always bringing together great DIY tutorials, and they send out weekly emails - it's worth signing up to get great ideas in your inbox!
